The life goes further,
while the snow falls

and the night finally begin.

I look outside of my window,
I think of you

Imaginations,

came in my mind
than I realise,
that I live to

far away from you.

With a sigh,
I closed the window,
to go to bed,
and meet you finally
in my dreams again

where I can see you,

Curse I know,

my wishes,

while tears

are flowing over my face.

my memories

as we have danced

lucky and happy

But in the evening,

at the beautiful night sky

and the person I like,

will sit in front of me

with his beautiful smile

and with hands which will never let me go again

Age

He sits on the table

each morning at eight

drinks his cup of coffee

and eating his slice of bread.

the radio plays music nearby,

while thoughts

are of times

which are already far behind.

He wishes

that someone from his family would come

to chat with him

and tell him about their day

because he feels so alone

when he is at home.

Sure,

he has a lot to do,

sometimes housework,

sometimes visit a doctor

because he isn´t that young anymore.

When he meet old friends,

they talk about the past,

their family

or illness

which they have now.

He look out of the window

and think  “how fast the time pass”

he was very young

as he begun work

travelled around the world

to work

found a woman

he married and loved her much

but now he is alone.

Sometimes he makes some sarcastic jokes,

and wishes he would see his family more

even though they live so far away now.

The time pass by

like a river,

which never stops

and he understands

that the future is now

in the hands of the children,

and when they have questions

he wants to  help them

as much as he can.

In this moment

the phone rings

he took the phone

and hear:

“Good morning, how are you grandpére?”

Clocking In

Among the winds

and over the hills

Toward the mountains,

and through forests.

Across the oceans,

near and far -

Into the darkest caves

and deepest waters.

Into the starry sky

and beyond it,

Into the dream

Wishing passed fears

To the many futures

And the many faces

Countenanced by time and memory.

By the longing and emptinesses,

Escaping the devil’s snare

Alighting from wonder

Back into the heart

and to the moment -

To take a breath

A pause,

And another look around.

Sometimes it’s before sunrise, with hours to wait, for the rest of the world to come to its senses.  I wonder why I’m waiting alone in the dark – A curse maybe.  At least I can give this to an owl.

Island Tectonics

I must never wake up,

from the place in which we’re dreaming

Of perfect blossums and fairy tales

a place the heart keeps making

To hold off that tyrant’s hand.

Pouring ourselves into the night

As if to flee the impossible world

Splitting as if to break,

Amidst the shadows I cannot shake.

Love has taken many faces

And maybe my face is taken -

Terror frozen in its place

We are seperated only in dictation,

Told that we must not feel.

When will my icey resolve

Finally melt down and boil?

All of this time spent dying,

All scarring, blunting spurn

The garden’s promises  yield.

Stay alive my princess,

Keep the springtime safe,

I don’t know why they hate us,

And I couldn’t keep you  -

So now the dream is over.

The polar icecaps will melt,

The sun will burn out too.

But nothing in this universe -

Will ever scold, to tell me

Whom I musn’t love.

Hello my name is Gewinnth, I want to share with you one of my poems.  But I have a lack of English, so please forgive for any mistakes with the language.

I hope you like it and enjoy it!

LOVE

When it comes to love

we all

have different kinds

of feelings.

The love from the parents

seems sometimes

as if it´s deeper

then any  ocean.

Even

because of anger,

fears and sadness,

it might

to stop to exist.

Love

has so many

different forms

so that we sometimes

it doesn´t realize

in the way

it is meant to be.

When we fall in love

it´s like

the heaven,

come down on earth.

Sometimes

our love change

and the feelings

we had

change to friendship

or in a worse case

we definitely

go separated ways.

Your love,

might be sometimes

only from one side

but when

both feelings are connected

when they say

the words

the other person wants to hear

it could be a swear

for all eternity.

Those who waiting

for their beloved one

who needs a lot´s of patience

until they meet

their beloved once again

have  sometimes

a long way in front of them

until their dreams

come true.

In the end

no one knows

where LOVE begins

and where she ends

only that it coast

lots of patience

effort

to build

the bridge of love

each day

to each other

that the hope

is there

that at least

it holds

for all eternity.

We also need to feature some Authors and Review some books.  The unfortunate story is that I had previously written some reviews and they were deleted when I accidently deleted the site whilst adding the Left Hand Books feature.  So I am starting over, I may put off adding Gaiman and Murakami until later on, down the road, when we can get over losing it.

I think it will be easy enough, maybe I can make it so members can review books on the fly?  Maybe.

There is a lot to do on the site, you’ll have to visit to download and read the latest works from your favourite authors.  Keep informed and spread the word through social media.

The community is based in the spirit of giving, so if you like something you read, make a small donation, it doesn’t have to be much.  It just symbolizes that you support the author and their progress towards a professional career in writing, or a hobby.  It also allows us to find out which authors are the most popular and if we raise enough money, then we will publish them, and hopefully distribute their works to bookstores around the world.

To compliment the writers, there is much to do here, including reading and writing book reviews, read up on the latest works from your favourite authors, work with our team of artists to create visual covers for your works, for e-book format or print format, inquire about publishing costs  or participate in our second hand book exchange.

The money raised through the Pigwidgeon Project goes towards publishing our most successful writers and making their works available to the wider community.
